The Garifuna Textbook project is a followup to the Habinaha Garinagu/Dance Garifuna workshop of 2011 and subsequent YuGaCuRe yearly workshops. The workshop and textbook projects are in compliance with the Cultural Retrieval Policy of the government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Both programs have the approval of the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines as well as the Dept of Culture.
